Workforce
Skilled workers are essential for the growth, maintenance and success of every North Dakota business. The North Dakota Chamber supports continued improvement of North Dakota's Workforce Development and Training System.
The North Dakota Chamber will:
- Support the One-Stop Shop workforce training system in each region that contains a full array of services for businesses and individuals and collaborates with other government and private-sector service providers.
- Support efforts to align educational programs and goals with critical workforce needs in the state.
- Support building partnerships between businesses and workforce training entities that result in educational and technical programs which address the specific training needs of the partner businesses.
- Support statewide marketing efforts to improve awareness and use of workforce training programs by businesses in small and large communities.
- Support efforts to recruit employees to North Dakota and retain the workers we already have.
- Support national marketing efforts to bring North Dakotan's back to the state.
- Support private sector initiatives to keep highly experienced individuals in North Dakota.
